Dorothy “Dot” Rothermel

Dorothy “Dot” Rothermel, 93, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 9, 2018 in Houston, TX. She was born in Palestine, TX on November 18, 1924 to John and Nannie “Pookie” Yarbrough.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Frances “Fritz” Rothermel; father John Yarbrough, mother Nanie Frazier Yarbrough, sisters Anabel Bridges and Johnnie Hinson, brother John Yarbrough Jr. and daughter Deana Rakes.

“Dot” is survived by her children Claudia Wolff of La Porte, and Stephen Dodgen of Houston, grandchildren Jarrod Wehba of Montgomery, Shelly Merrit of Houston and great grandchild Jesse Wehba of Round Rock.

A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 1:00pm at Grapeland Country Club, Grapeland, Tx.
