Fiolek Selected for Texas State 4-H Shotgun Team

HOUSTON COUNTY – Kara Fiolek, a member of the Houston County 4-H Shooting Sports Team, has recently been selected for the Texas State 4-H Shotgun Team.  Applicants from across the state of Texas submit applications each October, and only 4 applicants are chosen for the team.  This year Kara was the only female applicant chosen.

She will compete at the 4-H National Championships in Grand Island, Nebraska in June 2018.  Kara is the daughter of Brian and Ann Fiolek and is a senior at Crockett High School.  She will attend Texas A&M next fall and plans to shoot for the Texas A&M Trap and Skeet Team.
