HCSO Gets a Surprise Gift

On Sept.21, the Houston County Sheriff’s Office received special a special surprise from the youth who attended VBS at New Energy Church of Belott.  They made special care packages for  the deputies and raised  $320 that was donated to the Houston County Law Enforcement Association.  The donation will go toward the purchase of bullet proof vests for deputies and to help provide scholarships to local graduating students in Houston County.  Sheriff Bobbitt stated that this show of support from local youth was a blessing and spoke volumes to his office.  Pictured are representatives of the VBS, Sheriff Darrel Bobbitt and Lt.
