Perry Frank

Services for Perry Frank, age 61, of Grapeland will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church, Grapeland with the Rev. Chuck Bratz and the Rev. Dick Dobbins officiating. Masonic burial rites accorded by the Grapeland Masonic Lodge.

Graveside services will follow at 4 p.m. in Kendrick Cemetery in Tyler. Arrangements have been entrusted to and provided by Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.

Mr. Frank passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler.

He was born Nov. 10, 1955 in Fairfield, Texas to Perry Albert Frank and Norma Nettles Frank.

Mr. Frank was the band director of Grapeland since 2006. He was raised in Mesquite and graduated from University of Texas Austin earning  his Bachelor of Music degree. He served in the U.S. Navy band for 20 years retiring as petty officer first class. Mr. Frank was a member of the Grapeland Masonic Lodge and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Grapeland.

He was preceded in death by his father, Perry Albert Frank.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Krystal L. Frank of Grapeland, mother, Norma Frank of Mesquite, daughter, Savannah Frank, US Marine Corps officer of Beaufort, S.C., a son Logan Frank, of Grapeland, brothers, Jerry Frank and wife Retha of Duncan, OK, and Joe Frank and wife Barlo of Sunnyvale, TX., nieces Casey Frank- Felix, Kayla Frank and nephew Sam Frank.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Bailey & Foster Funeral Chapel, 415 S. Hwy 287, Grapeland, TX, 75844.
