Dr. Audrey Young from the Texas State Board of Education District 8 visited Crockett Thursday, Feb. 16 during a “Mid-Morning” Coffee event held by the Crockett Area Chamber of Commerce. Young told attendees at the Moosehead Cafe about the challenges facing schools districts in East Texas and how the state board is working to help.
