Three Men Arrested After Break-In At Crockett Store

CROCKETT –  Three men were arrested Jan. 31 in Huntsville after breaking into a Crockett convenience store and causing damage to the glass entrance and an ATM machine inside. Crockett Police Department (CPD) released the following statement:

“On Saturday, January 21, 2023, at about 3:15 a.m., officers with the Crockett Police Department responded to the report of a burglary alarm at Kim’s convenience store, located in the 1600 block of East Houston Avenue. 

Officers arrived to find one of the glass doors shattered. They also found the ATM inside the business had been pried open and the money box taken out of it.  Officers reviewed the store’s surveillance camera recordings and confirmed that the business had been burglarized by three masked individuals.

During the next several days, investigators from the Crockett Police Department, working with investigators from the Huntsville Police Department, identified the three suspects as Dejuan Markeese Hall (23 years old from Trinity), Xavian Brea Kell Willdean Simmons (23 years old from Trinity), and Amyron Kshun Dixon (age 20 from Houston).  The three were arrested on January 31, 2023 by the Huntsville Police Department for charges issued in their jurisdiction.  

Investigators in Crockett issued arrest warrants for the three for Burglary of a Building (State Jail Felony) and Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity (3rd Degree Felony).  The warrants were served on the three while they were still in the custody of the Walker County Jail.”

All subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
