Linda Dian McCaskill Robinson

Linda Dian McCaskill Robinson, age 82, of Crockett passed away January 30, 2023. Linda was born September 21, 1940, in Crockett to parents Harold Wilson McCaskill and Madell Eloise Morgan McCaskill. On June 1, 1958, she married the love of her life, Buddy Robinson of Crockett. Linda worked in banking for many years and became a charter employee of Citizens National Bank where she retired as Vice-President. She had a servant’s heart, spending time working on church committees, volunteering at the hospital, Relay for Life, Beta Sigma Phi, Davy Crockett Pilot Club and UMW Circle.

Linda served as Chairman of the Crockett Area Chamber of Commerce and was a member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas. Most recently, she worked alongside friends on the Houston County Depot Museum and served on the board of Tubb Cemetery Association where she assisted in acquiring a state historical marker. Linda loved traveling with family and friends. She greeted every adventure with a heart full of joy and a beautiful smile. Above all, she loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Linda spent many hours at rodeo arenas, baseball and football fields, track meets, dance competitions and cheer competitions.

Linda is survived by children, Bobby Robinson and wife, Cindy of Malvern Community, Angie Robinson Musgrove and husband, Doug of Carthage; sister, Betty Nash and husband, Don of San Marcos; sister-in-law, Bonnie Roberts of Ennis; grandchildren, Garrett Robinson of Weatherford, Justin Musgrove and wife, Kelsey of Tyler, Meagan Gaines of Conroe, Ryan Robinson and wife, Cheslee of Elkhart, Randi Day and husband, Sterling of Rockwall, Tyler Musgrove and wife, Lauren of Bullard, Brent Beeson of White City, Kansas, Daniel Robinson and fiancé Colbi of College Station, Joshua Robinson of Malvern Community; nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives; special friends, Peggy Patrick, Patsy Stokes, Rae Pat Dean, LaVerne Young, and many others too numerous to mention. Linda was preceded in death by husband, Buddy Robinson; parents, Harold and Eloise McCaskill.

A Celebration of Life for Linda Dian McCaskill Robinson will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2023 in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends for visitation at 1:00 p.m., prior to the service. In lieu of usual remembrances, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Wesleyan Methodist Church of Crockett.
