Felis Romo

Felis Romo, age 93, passed away Saturday June 30, 2018 at her residence in Trinity. Felis was born March 29, 1925 in San Antonio, to parents, Nicholas Zavala and Emeteria Vasquez Zavala. She was a retired restaurant owner/operator and attended the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

Felis is survived by her children, Rafael Romo of Trinity, Maria Delafuente of Trinity, Sylvia Ramos of Trinity, Fidencio Romo of Trinity, Herlinda Garza of Corsicana, Gloria Payne of Houston; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sisters, Angelita Gusman of San Antonio, Dominga Cordova of San Antonio. She is preceded in death by her husband Rafael Romo, Sr. in 1997.

Funeral Services were held for Felis Romo at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 4, 2018 with family receiving visitors at 8:30 a.m. in the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father Mark officiating.  Family received friends for visitation Tuesday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home with Rosary at 7 p.m. Interment followed in the Clapp Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Scleroderma Foundation, 300 Rosewood Dr., Ste. 105, Danvers, MA. 01923.
