Carolyn Denise McMillan

Carolyn Denise McMillan, 55, of Crockett gained her wings on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 5:05 p.m. in the Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital.  Carolyn was born September 14, 1962 in Lufkin to parents, Walter Fitz and Sharon Ann Edwards Fitz.  She lived a full and beautiful life leaving behind millions of memories.

Carolyn was a selfless person who loved without boundaries. She was a woman of faith and lived her life serving the Lord.  Her kind spirit was a warm embrace that would put a troubled soul at ease.  It was often said, she never met a stranger and to know her was to love her, a woman who danced to the beat of her own drum.  She will be missed but never forgotten.

Carolyn is survived by daughters, Julian Latasha Craig and Amanda Autumn Sirkel and husband, Darrell; grandchildren, Taylor Suzanne Dorris Craig, Joshua Jake Smith, Jenna Lynn Beaty; brothers, Harvey Glenn Edwards, William Floyd Kent, Eric Quintin Kent and wife, Janan; sister, Vonda Kay Browning, Edith Belinda Baker; nieces, Christal Garcia and husband, Luis, Erika Kay Kent, Erica Browning; nephews, Trey White, Landon Kent, Skyler Browning; great-nephews, Jaycob Browning, Weston Browning, Ethan Chrisco, Gauge Chrisco, Logan Garcia; great-niece, Kelsey Browning; and a multitude of friends.  She was preceded in death by parents, Walter Fitz and Sharon Ann Edwards Fitz; brother, Willard Ross Kent.

Her memorial service organized by her family and friends will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 30, 2018 in the Eastgate Family Church with Brother Daryll Bennett.

In lieu of flowers, an account has been set up at Citizens National Bank to help assist the family with final expenses.
