Tammy Renée Simmons Cook
Tammy Renée Simmons Cook, age 50, of Crockett passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018 at her home. She was born May 15, 1967 in Eustis, FL to parents, Raymon Simmons and Linda Higgins Simmons. Tammy was a graduate of Central High, in West Helena, AR, a veteran of the United States Army, and she attended the Porter Springs Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of twenty eight years, Larry Cook of Porter Springs; children, Whitney and Charles Jackson of Palestine, Justin Cook of Porter Springs, Valerie Cook of Virginia Beach, VA and Larry Cook, Jr. of San Jose, CA; grandchildren, Ashton Jackson, Elias Jackson, Hunter Cook, Jeanette Cook, and Savanah Cook; mother, Linda Higgins Everhart and husband, Bill of West Helena, AR; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Alvin and Faye Cook of Porter Springs; sisters, Diane King and husband, Kay of Olive Branch, MS, Christie Medford and husband, Clay of Marvell, AR; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymon Simmons of Umatilla, FL.
