Mary Bean McInnis

Mary Bean McInnis, age 85, of Crockett passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017 in Crockett.  Mary was born May 6, 1932 in Hughes Springs to parents, William and Claire Bean.

The family moved to Crockett in 1940 and Mary graduated from Crockett High School in 1950.  She married William “Bill” McInnis in 1978. She worked for Childs Studio, Aldrich Abstract, Davy Crockett Savings and Loan for thirty years, and then retired from the First National Bank. Mary was a member of the Nazarene Church and SPJST Lodge.

She is survived by step-children, Janis, Wayne, Bill, Tina and Pat McInnis; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Dorothy Seldons; sister, Peggy Bond; nephews, Dwayne Bond and wife, Patricia and Russell Bond and wife, Jennifer; great-nephews and great-nieces, James, Brad, Norris, Kelby, Aurora, Kathryn, Melissa and Jamie; great-great-nephew, Braydon; and great-great-niece, Paige.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, William McInnis; parents, William and Claire Bean; and sister-in-law, Janie.

Graveside services for Mary Bean McInnis will be held Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. in the Chambers-Day Cemetery in Elkhart with Rev. Reggie Gregory officiating.  The family received friends Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Support Group of Houston County, c/o Pioneer Bank, 415 East Goliad, Crockett, Texas 75835. Arrangements are under the direction of Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.
