All-District Gridiron Selections for District 11-2A DII Released

EAST TEXAS – With the loss of the Tenaha Tigers to the Bremond Tigers in the Regional Finals on Dec. 2, all the football teams from District 11-2A DII are now out of the playoffs.

The Grapeland Sandies and the Timpson Tigers both fell in the first round of the playoffs. The Sandies lost 23-6 game to the Iola Bulldogs while the Tigers fell to the Evadale Rebels by a score of 52-41.

The Overton Mustangs fell to the Bremond Tigers 48-13 in the Area Round while Tenaha

also fell to Bremond by a score of 31-7. As a result, the All-District teams from District 11-2A DII were released.
