James “Jivie” “ Randy” Ivie
Memorial services for James “Jivie” “Randy” Ivie age 62 of Grapeland will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Liberty Hill United Methodist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster.
Mr. Ivie died Tuesday at CHI St. Lukes Health Memorial Hospital in Lufkin. He was born December 26, 1953 in Ft. Worth to James Madison Ivie and Doris Nell Anderson Ivie. Mr. Ivie was a retired lab tech from Sid Richardson in Big Spring, TX. He loved building things and loved his boys, Tyson, Samson, and Rambo. Mr. Ivie was loved by all that knew him.
He was preceded in death by his father James Madison Ivie, and a brother Jeff Ivie. He is survived by his wife Debra “George” Ivie of Grapeland, mother Doris Nell Anderson Ivie of Corsicana, daughters, Melody Star Dickey of Joplin, MO., Casey Ivie of Muskogee, OK., Nichole Ivie of Big Spring, sons, Shane Haney of Big Spring, and Gary McKinney of Independence, MO. a sister Evonne Lane and husband Bobby of Corsicana, grandchildren, Karya Dawn Dickey (Paw Paw’s Angel), Autumn Skie Achey, Lexie Hyden and Katy Perez in addition to eighteen other grandchildren, and two great grandchildren, nieces, Richele Perry and Ivy Blackwell, and nephew Andrew Blackwell.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Bailey & Foster Funeral Chapel, Grapeland.
