Dorothy Louise Baker Duckworth

Dorothy Louise Baker Duckworth, age 85, of Crockett passed away Monday, October 10, 2016 at Whitehall Nursing Center. She was born February 3, 1931 in Quitman, Texas to parents, Cloyd Wright and Ida Jane Pope Wright. She retired from Lovelady ISD after 21 years of service and was a member of the West Side Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children, Morris D. Ham, Jr. and wife, Alice Marie of Lovelady, Bobby J. Ham, Sr. and wife, Sharon of Lovelady, Patricia Louise Bryce and husband, Glennen of Livingston, and John Earl Ham and wife, Alice Faye of Crockett; thirteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Cleo Blakeley of Lovelady, Wanda Huddleston of Emory, and Lovan Wright of Oklahoma City; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, L.B. “Ducky” Duckworth; and parents, Cloyd and Ida Wright.

Services for Dorothy Louise Baker Duckworth were held Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Tony Wolf officiating. Interment will follow in the Lovelady Antioch Cemetery. The family received friends for visitation Friday evening form 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Antioch Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 400, Lovelady, Texas 75851.
