Shelley Lynnita Harrison

Shelley Lynnita Harrison, age 52, passed away Friday, November 23, 2018 at her home in Dallas. Shelley was born December 17, 1965 in Lockhart, Texas to parents, Art L. Harris and Sheila Hughes Harris.

She graduated from Crockett High School then continued her education, graduating from Sam Houston State University. Shelley had a lifelong career in banking and real estate management and was also a member of Munger Place Church in Dallas.

Shelley is survived by her husband, Clay Harrison of Dallas; daughter, Sophie Harrison of Dallas; step-sons, Nick Harrison of Seattle, WA, Cole Harrison and wife, Marian of Seattle, WA; mother and stepfather, Sheila and Tommy Crone of Sherman; half-siblings, Cade Harris of Fort Worth, Lyndi Ford and husband, Corey of Oklahoma City, OK; step-sister, Jenny Grolemund and husband, Justin of Mt. Vernon; step-brother, Jeremy Crone and wife, Toko of Orange County, CA.

She is preceded in death by her father, Art L. Harris.

Funeral services for Shelley Lynnita Harrison were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, November 29, 2018 in the Munger Place Church, Dallas with the Rev. Andrew Forrest officiating. Family received friends for visitation Wednesday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 30, 2018 in Evergreen Memorial Park, Crockett, TX.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P. O. Box 1893, Memphis, TN 38101-9950.
