N. A. Dickey

N. A. Dickey, age 78, of Splendora passed away Sunday, July 2, 2017 at his residence.  He was born May 20, 1939 in Crockett, Texas to parents, Delbert Dickey and Lura Mae Haltom Dickey.  He was a retired grocery store manager and attended the Second Baptist Church of Kingwood.

He is survived by his wife, Candy Dickey of Splendora; children, Lisa K. Prejean and husband, Keith of Bryan, Brenda Tomey and husband, Vance of Hondo, David Dickey and wife, Stacey of Montgomery, Mark Ochoa and wife, Tanya of Hernado, MS, Ann Marie Zilberfarb and husband, Steve of Belle Air Beach, FL, and John Ochoa of Tucson, AZ; grandchildren, Cole, Darienne, Mekenna, Rex, Alex, Diego, Dawson, Dillon, Rheinhart, Maysa, and Allie; sister, Eloise Allen and husband, Bill of Palestine; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Lura Mae Dickey; and sister, Willie Mae Benton.

Funeral services for N. A. Dickey were held Sunday, July 9, 2017 at 1 p.m. in the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Lacey officiating.  The family received friends for visitation July 9 from 10 a.m. until time of service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the D.E.B.R.A.
