In a press release dated Oct. 12, Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar stated, “The cities of San Antonio, Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano and McKinney saw noticeable increases in sales tax allocations. The cities of Houston and Midland saw significant decreases in sales tax allocations.” Hegar will send local sales tax allocations for October in the amount of $650 million to cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose taxing districts. The district is comprised of six teams. They are: Centerville; Dallardsville Big Sandy; Grapeland; Groveton; Latexo; and Lovelady. The Latexo Tigers boys’ varsity team, individually, went 1-2-3 and captured the team title as their top five runners all finished in top ten.
