Mary Omelina

Mary Omelina, age 61, of Crockett passed away Saturday, July 19, 2025 in Galveston. Mary was born November 19, 1963 in Falfurrias, Texas to parents, LeRoy McCumber and Betty Hetzel McCumber. 

Whether at the field or at home, Mary loved spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed.

Mary is survived by husband of 43 years, Mike Omelina of Crockett; son, Richard Omelina and wife, Amanda of Crockett; daughter, Mandy Miles and husband, Pete of Crockett; grandchildren, Josh Miles, Baylee “Goose” Omelina, Michael “Peanut” Miles, Lilly Omelina, Kenneth Miles; sister, Lorie Walters of Mathis; special bestie, Pam Bond of Crockett; numerous other loving relatives and friends; fur babies, Spudd, Morkie and Taz. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Randall.

Funeral services for Mary Omelina were held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 25, 2025 at the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Pastor Leon Wallace officiating. Interment followed at Evergreen Memorial Park. Visitation began at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service at Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.
