Betty Jordan

Betty Jordan, age 87, of Pearson Chapel, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at her home. Betty was born July 24, 1939 in Pearson Chapel to parents, Jack R. Craven and LaVerne Hobbs Craven and graduated from Lovelady High School in 1957. Betty married J. T. Jordan December 21, 1957 and became a homemaker which she enjoyed and took great pride in. Keeping house and taking care of her birds were two of her joys however, her family was definitely her greatest love. She was a member of the Chita Baptist Church.

Betty is survived by husband, J. T. Jordan of Pearson Chapel; son, John Jordan and wife, Teri of Paragould, AR; daughters, Sharon Rolan and husband, Tony of Pearson Chapel, Debra Burk and husband, Allen of Magnolia; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchildren; sister, Tinker Broxson and husband, Jerry of Lovelady; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. 

She was preceded in death by parents, Jack and LaVerne Craven; grandson, Brian Reeves; sister, Bonnie Goodrum.

Funeral services for Betty Jordan will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 31, 2026 at the Pearson Chapel Baptist Church with Pastor Russell Lee officiating. Interment will follow in the Creek Cemetery.

Visitation will be at 9:00 a.m. prior to service.
