Johnny Ray Alexander

Johnny Ray Alexander, age 84, of Bryan passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at CHI St. Joseph Regional Hospital in Bryan.  Johnny was born December 5, 1938 in Crockett to parents, Earl Jackson Alexander and Eugenie Mae Carswell Alexander.  He served in the Texas National Guard for eight years.  Johnny owned R & R Plumbing and was contract supervisor for TDCJ for over 30 years.  He loved working his cattle and taking care of his farm.  

Johnny is survived by son, Robin Alexander and wife, Beth of Iola; granddaughter, Jessica Alexander of Magnolia; sisters, Loyce Ferraro of Crockett and Nina Ivins of Crockett; sister-in-law, Betty Alexander of Petersburg, WV; numerous other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by wife, Carolyn Alexander; son, Randy Alexander; parents, Earl and Eugenie Alexander; brother, Earl Alexander; sister, Joyce Reagan.

Funeral services for Johnny Ray Alexander were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 18, 2023 at the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel.  Interment will follow in the Corinth Cemetery.  Visitation was Friday, Feb. 17 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.
