Call Before You Dig

City of Crockett reminds people to call before you dig, after city crews worked into the evening Monday, Dec. 18 to restore water utilities to the west side of Crockett. Contractors failed to get the water lines located prior to installing fiber optic cable along west Goliad Avenue. As a result, a city water main was severely damaged. System pressures remained high enough to avoid a boil water notice.
