Carolyn Beth Graham

Carolyn Beth Graham, age 77, of Grapeland, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Caring Country Cottage in Alvin, Texas. She was born April 20, 1945 in Port Arthur to parents, Junior Mathis Hughes and Gloria June Lee Hughes. After high school, she married Royce in 1971, and moved to Channelview, where she was a wonderful homemaker. Carolyn worked at the high school student center, where all the students loved her. They retired and moved to Latexo in the early 90’s and did some traveling throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. Carolyn enjoyed sewing, cooking, crocheting, gardening, and doing word search puzzles.

Carolyn is survived by her husband of 51 years, Royce Jefferson Graham; step-daughters, Kim Anderson and husband, Tracy, Deborah Rainwater and husband, Clint; grandchildren, Kevin and Katherine Rogers, Adam and Cory Anderson, Tonya Comardelle, Shawn Rainwater and Chasity Howes; with lots of great and great-great-grandchildren; half siblings, Lance Hughes, Donald Hughes and Jerri Tatum; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Kenneth Dwayne Rogers; son, Lee Kevin Rogers; parents, Junior and June Hughes, brother, Danny Hughes; and sister, Sarah Maganise.

Funeral services for Carolyn Beth Graham were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel. Visitation began at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.
