Grapeland FFA Sends Two to Area IX Workshop

Grapeland FFA had two students attend the Area 9 leadership workshops. Cayden LeBlanc and Stacy Perez are serving the 2019 – 20 school year, not only as chapter officers, but Sam Houston district officers also. As district officers they will work with a team of 8 officers to lead the 24 schools that make up the Sam Houston district. Their first duty was to attend the district leadership camp for two days to work with the rest of the team to prepare for the Area camp. The next 3 days they helped put on the Area camp by conducting leadership workshops for the nearly 300 campers.
