Bennie Ann McLeod

Bennie Ann McLeod, age 72, passed away Monday, August 6, 2018, at Legacy at Town Creek in Palestine.  She was born October 11, 1945 in Houston, to parents, Benjamin Pardue and Anna Verline Hollis.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Bennie is survived by her husband of 56 years, Bobby McLeod of Grapeland; daughters, Beverly Wilbanks and husband, Randy of Palestine, Lisa Sturdivant and husband, David of Tomball; son, Keith McLeod and wife, Brett of Latexo; grandchildren, Glenn Huff and wife, Jennifer of Kayenta, AZ, Tracey Huff of Palestine, Leslee Wilbanks of Palestine, Bozy Wilbanks and wife, Casey of Maydelle, Courtney Hoyt and husband, Tyler of Huffman, Lauren Sturdivant of Tomball, Jacob McLeod of Latexo, Stormie McLeod of Latexo; great-grandchildren, Adalyn, Bentlee, Lannon, Kysen, Hudson, Carlie, Railie; numerous other loving relatives and friends.  Bennie is preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Verline Pardue; brother, Jimmy Pardue; sister, Carol Klutts.

Funeral services were held for Bennie Ann McLeod on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 10 a.m. at the Liberty Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. Jack Chelf officiating. Family received friends Wednesday, August 8, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m at Callaway-Allee Funeral Home. Interment followed in the Augusta Cemetery.
