Kenneth Don Foster

Kenneth Don Foster, age 72, passed away Saturday, June 2, at his home in Houston. Kenneth was born in Anderson County on June 29, 1945. He graduated from Grapeland High School in 1963 and had made his home in Houston since that time, where he owned and operated Putt-Putt golf courses.

Kenneth was a history buff. He enjoyed talking about historical events, for which he had an amazing recall of dates and facts. He spent many hours listening to books from the Talking Book program.

Kenneth is survived by his son, William Foster and wife Misty, daughter Lauren Murtaugh and husband Paul and granddaughter Madilyn Elizabeth Foster, all of Houston; brother, Merwyn Foster and Sophie of Marble Falls and sister Sandra Herod of Palestine.

He was predeceased by his mother Bracie Denson Foster and brother Johnnie Foster.

A memorial service to honor Kenneth will be held on Saturday, June 30 at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery Chapel in Percilla.
