Thea “Gail” Watson Rodriguez

Thea “Gail” Watson Rodriguez passed away peacefully Sept. 22, 2017 in Grapeland, Texas.

Gail was born in Wiesbaden, Germany on May 11, 1958 to Jim and JoJuan Ivey Watson.

Gail leaves behind her devoted sons Nathan Rodriguez and his wife Amy of Grapeland and Justin Rodriguez and  his wife Trisha of Victoria, and Marcus Lemons and wife Dawn of Quinlan; her adoring grandsons Nicholas and Easton Rodriguez of Grapeland and grandchildren Darean, Dramen, and Kierra Lemons of Quinlan; sister Phabrice Duhon and her husband Robert, brother James “Pete” Watson and wife Mary, brother Timothy “Timbo” Watson, brother Joe Watson and wife Kim, sister Doris Goodnight and Paul all of Grapeland;  brother and sister-law Joe and Kathy Rodriguez of Plano; special friends Sylvia Hallmark Raider of Houston; and best friend Nancy of Grapeland; many nephews and nieces and great-nephews and nieces.  She also is survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Gail owned a wallpapering business, and cleaning service and recently worked at TDC for the past three years.  She was preceded in death by her husband Robert “Chi Chi” Rodriguez, her daughter, Ashley Rodriguez, and her father Jim Watson.

Services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 25, 2017 at Felders Chapel with Pastor Randy Shipman officiating.
