Ronald D. Whitehead

Ronald D. Whitehead, age 67, of Weldon passed away Saturday, June 14, 2025 in Houston. Ronald was born January 30, 1958 in Houston, Texas to parents, Clifford Whitehead and Tommie Jean Aiken Whitehead.  Ronald was a member of the Church of Christ.  He retired from the Texas Department of Correction where he had worked for many years.  Ronald loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.

Ronald is survived by wife, Dorothy M. Whitehead of Weldon; son, Daniel Whitehead and wife, Brandy of Huntsville; grandchildren, Everett Whitehead of Huntsville, Emrys Whitehead of Huntsville, Marshall Whitehead of Huntsville; brother, Jeff Whitehead and wife, Susan of Fresno; nieces, Keila Crews of Rosharon, and Brittney Campbell and husband, Morgan of Rosharon. He was preceded in death by son, Russell Whitehead; parents, Clifford and Tommie Whitehead; uncle and aunt, Clifton and Betty Whitehead; aunt, Leoda Barrilleaux.

Graveside services for Ronald D. Whitehead were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 23, 2025 at the Lovelady Antioch Cemetery. Visitation was held Sunday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.
