Jane Omelina Sexton
Jane Omelina Sexton, age 94, of Crockett passed away Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017 in the Trisun Care Center in Corsicana.
Jane was born August 4, 1923 in Ft. Bend County to parents, John Omelina and Ludmilla Kosik Omelina. She retired AND worked for the Houston County Clerk’s office for many years and was a member of the First Baptist Church. Jane loved to keep her home and yard and often received yard of the month.
Jane is survived by sister, Mickey McGaugh and husband, James of Richland; niece, Jayne Tallant and husband, Billy of Pursley; nephew, John West of Corsicana. She was preceded in death by husband of 61 years, Dennis Sexton in 2010; parents, John and Ludmilla Omelina; sisters, Rosa Goodwin and Anna King.
Funeral services for Jane Omelina Sexton were held Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2017 at 3 p.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jim Tom Ainsworth officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Park. Family received friends for visitation from 2 p.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
