2017 21-AAA All-District Softball Team Released

EAST TEXAS – Following the conclusion of the 2017 UIL State Softball Tournament, the 2017 21-AAA All-District Team was released with the post season accolades showing a strong presence from the Crockett Lady Bulldogs.

Trinity Lady Tiger Kinley Searcy was selected as the District’s Most Valuable Player.

The Offensive MVP was Trinity Lady Tiger Taleyna Allen.

The Defensive MVP was New Waverly Lady Bulldog Reagan Tremie.

A freshman from the Crockett Lady Bulldogs – Remington Denman – was selected as the District 21-AAA Newcomer of the Year.

The MVP at the catcher’s position was Kaylee Neuman from the Coldspring-Oakhurst Lady Trojans.

The MVP in the pitcher’s circle was Onalaska Lady Wildcat Hunter Price.

The Coach of the Year was the Trinity Lady Tigers’ Coach Shaun Stout.

The First Team All-District catcher was Trinity Lady Tiger Maddy Smith.

The First Team All-District first baseman was New Waverly Lady Bulldog Jayla Gaines.

The First Team All-District second basemen were New Waverly Lady Bulldog Ragan Stone and Trinity Lady Tiger Mallory Stout.

The First Team All-District shortstops were Crockett Lady Bulldog Shelby Corry and Onalaska Lady Wildcat Brianna Cougot.

The First Team All-District third baseman was Anderson-Shiro Lady Owl Brianna Weaver.

The First Team All-District outfielders were: Bailey Hayes – Anderson-Shiro; Regan Haynes – Onalaska; Sally Pacheco – Hempstead; Hannah Robertson – New Waverly; and Rylee Rudloff – Coldspring-Oakhurst.

The Second Team All-District infielders were: Keytriana Sandles – Crockett; Taylor Bennett – New Waverly; MaClaye Hatcher – New Waverly; Hope Ritchie – Coldspring-Oakhurst; Kori Smith – Trinity; Madison Vasquez – Hempstead; and Cari Wiggins – Onalaska.

The Second Team All-District outfielders were: De’aveaon Farris – Crockett; Kaitlyn Evans – New Waverly; Alivia Garcia – Anderson-Shiro; Kelsey Richmond – Coldspring-Oakhurst; and Makayla Wawarofsky – Hempstead.
