Margene Williamson

Margene Williamson, age 89, of Lovelady passed away March 13, 2017 in Crockett. She was born June 13, 1927 in Alba to parents, Benjamin James Brown and Bessie Jane McGhee Brown. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Lovelady and a homemaker.

She is survived by her children, Nelda Hartless and husband, Jerry Glen of Houston, Thomas Ray Williamson of Houston; grandchildren, Jerry W. Hartless of Houston, Patrick Hartless and wife, Kristal of Pearland; great-grandchildren, Bella Hartless, Hailey Hartless, and Addison Hartless; sister Nell Ray Bitner of Lovelady; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, T.J. Williamson; daughter, Vera L. Roscoe; and grandchildren, Jeff Davidson and Kimberly Campbell.

Funeral services for Margene Williamson were held Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 10 a.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Mitchell Kleckley officiating.

Interment will follow in the Lovelady Antioch Cemetery.

The family received friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.
