Shirley Ann Drake

Shirley Ann Drake, age 67, of Houston passed away Monday, January 23, 2017 in the East Houston Regional Hospital, Houston. Shirley was born December 9, 1949 in Walker County to parents, Oscar Leonard Drake and Julie Ann Ashley. She worked for many years as a box maker and attended the Lakewood Church. Shirley is survived by sisters, Thelma Faye Drake of Houston and Brenda Ailene Drake of Houston and numerous cousins and other relatives. She was preceded in death by parents, Oscar Leonard Drake in 1995 and Julie Ann Drake in 2005 and also brother, Oscar Randall Drake in 2004. Funeral services for Shirley Ann Drake will be held Sunday, February 5, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel. Family will receive friends for visitation Sunday morning at 11:00 a.m. prior to service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association.
