Madeline Powell Miller

Madeline Powell Miller, age 93, of Centerville passed away January 15, 2017 in Crockett. She was born August 10, 1923 in Houston to parents, Johnnie Powell and Annie Edge Powell.  She was a member of the Good Shepherd Fellowship.

She is survived by her children, Venita Bartmess and husband, Don of Leon County, Jeanie Swanson and husband, Tom of Quinlan, Billy Glenn Richmond and wife, Marsha of Canton; grandchildren, Stephanie, Brandon, Aaron, Chris, Garrett, Randy, David and Travis; numerous great-grandchildren; brother, Jimmy Powell and wife, Hazel of Crockett, sisters, Jacqueline Warren of Latexo, Johnnie Chancellor of Corsicana; sister-in-law, Martha Powell of Goliad; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Miller; son, Royce Miller; parents, Johnnie and Annie Powell; and brother, Billy Powell.
Funeral services for Madeline Powell Miller were held Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Leon Wallace officiating.  Interment followed in the Tubb Cemetery.  The family received friends for visitation Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.  Online condolences may be made at www.callawayallee.com
