George Russell Bomer

George Russell Bomer, age 73, of Cleveland passed away Monday, December 19, 2016. He was born October 18, 1943 in Houston to parents, Gordon Russell Bomer and Etta Mae Dupree. Mr. Bomer was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired from the City of Houston as a Master Plumber. He is survived by his children, Mona Stephenson of Cleveland, Bryan Russell Bomer of Cleveland, and Amanda Bomer of Cleveland; special grandson, John; numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Jerry Nallon and husband, Dan of Cleburne; brothers, Mike Pigford and wife, Nancy of Humble, John Pigford and wife, Jan of Crockett; special niece, Dena Bartlett and husband, Mike of Cleburne; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Etta Mae Pigford. Funeral services for George Russell Bomer were held Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Carl Standley officiating. The family received friends for visitation Thursday morning prior to service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
