Sliced, Diced and “Chopped (Junior)”

By Will Johnson Messenger Reporter LATEXO – It’s a given that young girls and boys will, at some point in their childhood, venture into the kitchen and ask to help mom or dad make dinner. Most will give it a try, realize it takes a little more effort than anticipated, wander back to their Play Station™ or X-Box™ and call it a day. Some will find they’re pretty good at making dinner and will continue to help mom and dad every now and then. A select few, however, will find they have a real passion for food and its...

Here We Go, Again

By Will Johnson Messenger Reporter GRAPELAND – Fronted by David Coverdale, the English hair metal band Whitesnake first recorded the tracks to arguably their biggest hit, “Here I Go Again” in 1982. After last week’s victory over the Clifton Cubs, the Bulldogs looked to continue on their road to state against the dangerous Arp Tigers. A costly fumble for Crockett would give the Tigers an early possession in the first quarter and the shift in momentum would force the Bulldogs to overcome an early 6-0 deficit. In the second quarter, Crockett would answer with a touchdown and take the lead, but Arp would tack on...
