Marilyn Anita Morgan

Marilyn Anita Morgan passed away on July 8, 2026, in Mansfield, Texas, due to heart and respiratory failure. She was born on August 6, 1952, in Crockett, Texas and was a 1970 graduate of Crockett High School.

Marilyn loved cats, especially her beloved cat, Sam (Samantha). She also loved her work family at GM Financial, where she was consistently a top producer as a Funding Specialist.

She was known as one of the kindest people in the world. 

She was always willing to lend a helping hand, share a smile, and offer encouragement. 

Marilyn had many friends and deeply valued both her church family and her work family.

Marilyn will be remembered as a kind, caring, and dependable person who was always available to help others, provide assistance when needed, share a good joke, and enjoy good times with those around her.

She is survived by her brother, James E. Morgan Jr. and his wife, Angela Morgan; nieces, Rebecca Leilani Morgan and Marisa Leigh Cowing and husband, Stephen Cowing; and her grandnieces Allison Grace Cowing and Brooke Elizabeth Cowing.

She was preceded in death by her father, James E. Morgan; her mother, Eris A. Morgan; and her brother, Robert Larry Morgan.

Marilyn will be remembered with love by her family, friends, church family, and work family.
