Lieb Wallace Koehl (Wally)

Lieb Wallace Koehl (Wally), age 88, went to be with His LORD on Thursday, January 26, at North Austin Medical Center in Austin, Texas. He was born March 19, 1934 in Houston, Texas, to parents, Lieb Wallace, Sr and Irma Gill Koehl. He attended school in Huntsville, Texas. He served in the U S Army after graduating Sam Houson State College in 1958. He met and married the love of his life, Ramona Callaway, in Houston, Texas. They moved to Crockett, Texas, in 1979, where he was owner of Crockett Office Supply. He retired in 2000 and moved to Austin, Texas.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ramona Callaway Koehl; children: Eric Koehl, Richard Fulgham and Roger Fulgham; grandchildren: Ryan Fulgham, Ashton and Brittany Fulgham, and Brandon Todd: great grandchildren, Ashton, Brynlee and Bryce Fulgham. He was preceded in death by his parents and only sister, Jenny Osterman.

Graveside services were held in the family Pennington Cemetery in Grapeland, Texas, on Tuesday, February 7, at 1 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Great Hills Baptist Church on Saturday, February 18, at 11 a.m. with visitation at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to John Skeel Missionary Foundation, 101 Cherry Avenue, Winona Lake IN 46590-1607, where he served on the board, or to the Gideons.
