TOMBALL – The Crockett Bulldogs hit the road on Friday, Oct. 11 for a non-district matchup against the Tomball Christian Warriors.

The Bulldogs were looking to get a bad taste out of their mouths after their 43-10 loss to the Diboll Lumberjacks the previous week. Crockett came into the game with an overall record of 3-2 while Tomball Christian was coming off of their first victory of the season, a 53-14 win over KIPP Sunnyside.

The two teams had met in 2018 with the Bulldogs winning by a final score of 42-7. This year’s game wasn’t much better as Crockett won by a final score of 55-0.

Crockett scored early and they scored often. The Bulldogs went over 40 before halftime and added two more scores by the end of the third quarter to close out the 55-0 drubbing.

The Bulldogs travel to Coldspring-Oakhurst for a clash with the Trojans. Crockett is now 4-2 on the season while Coldspring is 3-4. With Diboll in the driver’s seat, this very easily could be a game for third place. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 pm.
