HOUSTON COUNTY – The Houston County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) is seeking the public’s help in locating a fugitive from justice.

According to a press release received from the HCSO, deputies were attempting to serve a warrant on 30-year-old Christen McDougald on the afternoon of April 25, near the Austonio area.

“McDougald fled upon seeing the deputies. Simultaneously, deputies were questioning a male subject, Michael Sessions, Jr., 28, who was with McDougald. He also fled, but ran in the opposite direction,” the media statement reported.

Sessions is wanted for an outstanding blue warrant from the TDCJ Parole Division and a child support warrant out of Houston County. A blue warrant is a type of arrest warrant issued by the Texas Parole Board which means a person’s parole is in danger of being revoked and losing their freedom.

Sessions is also wanted on a failure to appear charge for driving while his license was suspended. In addition, he is wanted for bail jumping in Nacogdoches County.

The affidavit went on to state, “Deputies contacted TDCJ and summoned the assistance of tracking dogs.   TDCJ arrived and deployed K-9’s.   During the track deputies received information that the McDougald and Sessions were observed getting into a vehicle and fleeing the area.

On Friday morning, April 26, HCSO deputies received information which indicated McDougald was in the 900 block of CR 3410.

Law enforcement officials responded to the area and were able to apprehend McDougald on outstanding felony warrants. She also acquired an additional charge of resisting arrest.

Also arrested at the scene was 30-year-old Cameron Larue. He was arrested for hindering apprehension.

If anyone knows the whereabouts of Michael Sessions, Jr. you are urged to contact the Houston County Sheriff’s Office at 936-54-2862.
