Jean Castleschouldt

Jean Castleschouldt, age 85, of Kennard passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018 in the Houston Methodist Hospital.  Jean was born November 13, 1933 in Cravens, Louisiana to parents, Monroe James and Rebecca Maricle James.  She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed cooking and gardening.  She was a member of the Piney Creek Baptist Church.

Jean is survived by daughters, Kay Johnson of Lufkin, Sheila Gay Baker of Groveton, Dee Krizak and husband, Bart of Tarkington Prairie; grandchildren, Branin and Melissa Klasuman of Burke, VA, Kevin and Stacy Fellers of Magnolia, Jason and Jennifer Burson of Lufkin, James Baker of Kennard, Aimee Baker of Kennard, Cody and Brittney Ratliff of Tarkington Prairie, Scott and Charlene Ratliff of Lufkin, Will Krizak of Tarkington Prairie, Cody and Mercedes Rose of Nacogdoches; great-grandchildren, Bransen Klausman, Jacob Klausman, Kailey Fellers, Caden Fellers, Joshua Burson, Luke Burson, Benjamin Rose; ; brother, Huel James and wife, Johnnie of Glenmora, LA.;special friends and neighbors, David and Helen Goodson, Boyd and Beth Speck, Janet Price.  She was preceded in death by husband of 58 years, Luke Castleschouldt; granddaughter, Jennifer Dee Burson; parents, Monroe and Rebecca James; brothers, Therman James, Huey P. James, Wayne James, Elray James.

Funeral services for Jean Castleschouldt were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 30, 2018 in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel.  Interment will be held at a later date.  Family received friends Saturday evening from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.
