Arthur Randal Hollingsworth

Arthur Randal Hollingsworth, age 78, of Lovelady passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 at his residence.  He was born January 31, 1940 in Trinity to Henry Levi Hollingsworth and Maudi Cox Hollingsworth. Randal owned and operated Randal’s Pest Control for 34 years. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, his grandchildren called him Papa. Randal was a member of the Weldon Baptist Church having a special spiritual gift of prayer and was known as a very strong man of God.

Randal is survived by wife of 59 years, Robbie Hollingsworth of Lovelady; children, Deidra Parker and husband, Mark of Lovelady, Rhonda Stanley and husband, Lee of Lovelady; grandchildren, Jamie and Amy Parker of Spring, Leah and Leslie Chambers of Plano, Holli Parker of Huntsville, Randi and Caleb Allen of Goliad; great-grandchildren, Hayden Chambers, Hadley Parker, Landen Chambers, Margot Parker, Huntley Allen; brother, Lee Hollingsworth and wife, Sandra of Weches; sisters-in-law, Joyce Allbright of Crockett, Darlene Lane and husband, Marion of Crockett, Carol Brown of Port Neches; brother-in-law, Jackie Bowdoin and wife, Bertie of Crockett; special friends, Bob and Diane Chafin of Lovelady, Larry and Barbara Shupak of Lonepine, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. 

He was preceded in death by father, H.L. and wife Elnora Hollingsworth; mother, Maudi “Holly” Brown; sisters Jean Sepmoree and husband, David, Ginger Lovell and husband, Lacy; brother-in-law and special friend, Sonny Allbright; brother-in-law, George Brown; and sister-in-law, Aline Meizner and husband, Irving.

He was preceded in death by father, H.L. and wife Elnora Hollingsworth; mother, Maudi “Holly” Brown; sisters Jean Sepmoree and husband, David, Ginger Lovell and husband, Lacy; brother-in-law and special friend, Sonny Allbright; brother-in-law, George Brown; and sister-in-law, Aline Meizner and husband, Irving.

Funeral services for Arthur Randal Hollingsworth will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2018 in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Brother Bob Lacey and Brother Jim Brazzil officiating.  Interment will follow in the Lovelady Antioch Cemetery.  Family will receive friends for visitation Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.
