Polly Smith

Polly Smith, age 70, of Tejas Shores passed away Saturday, December 8, 2018 at her residence.  Polly was born October 2, 1948 in San Antonio to parents, Delmar and Shermie Knox.  She enjoyed bowling, quilting, fishing and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Polly is survived by husband of 34 years, Ronald Smith of Tejas Shores; sons, Alan Chavis and  wife, Brooke of Conroe, Daniel Smith and wife, Sarah of Trinity; daughters, Pamela Middleton and husband, Troy of Deer Park, Mary Folk of Tacoma, WA, Pamela Chavis of Rusk,  Cynthia Carevic and husband, Tommy of Conroe; grandchildren, Max and Samantha Chavis of Houston, Lauren and Tyson Grona of The Woodlands, Brittany Easley of Rusk, Jake Folk of Tacoma, WA, Cory Folk of Tacoma WA, Morgan Carevic of Tyler, Shane Shields of Ft. Hood, Austin Shields of Conroe, Triston Smith of Elkhart, Maicey Smith of Groveton, Kierynn Smith of Groveton, Holly Grissom of Cleveland, Heather and John Blair of Clearlake; great-grandchildren, Lane, Cassidy, Dylon, Garrett, Dylani, Denton and Brooklynn; brother, Michael Knox of Austin; numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by parents, Delmar and Shermie Knox; brother, Delmar Knox.

Funeral services for Polly Smith was held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 13, 2018 in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Rev. John Markham officiating.  Interment will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery.  Family received friends for visitation Wednesday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
