Melba Wallace

Mrs. Melba Wallace, 91, of the Slocum/Grapeland communities, transitioned peacefully, Sunday, March 4, 2018.  She was married over 72 years to Gilbert Wallace, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Wallace was employed at Elkhart ISD, for many years, as the Food Service Director. She was a loving and kind spirit.

Mrs. Wallace is survived by; sons George Albert Wallace, David Lewis Wallace and Patrick Bruce Wallace; grandchildren Jennifer Cross, Gabriel Wallace, Anthony Wallace, Shannon Wallace and Leah Decco; great-grandchildren Darron Cross, Payeton Wallace, Morgan Wallace, Clayton Wallace, Jackson Wallace, Sierra and Justin Decco.

Graveside Services will be held Friday, March 9, 2018, Guiceland Cemetery at 11 a.m.
