Annie Pearl Etheredge
Annie Pearl Etheredge, age 71, of Lovelady passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018 in Huntsville Memorial Hospital. She was born July 23, 1946 in Leon County to parents, Joe Nathan Guyton and Gladys Parker Guyton. She was a member of Truly God’s Country Cowboy Church. Annie worked for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. After twenty years as a public servant, she enjoyed her retirement until her death. Annie also enjoyed the comfort she received from her dog Tiny, which helped her through the distress of her illness
She is survived by her sons, Shannon Etheredge of Trinity, Henry Etheredge and wife, Callie of Romayor; grandson, Dustin Etheredge and wife, Shelby of Shepherd; granddaughter, Emmalee Etheredge of Port Arthur; great-granddaughter, Harper Leigh Etheredge of Shepherd; sister, Linda Neel and husband, Albert of Grapeland; brother, Mickey Guyton of Lovelady; aunt, Frances McKinney of Lovelady; brother-in-law, Thomas Etheredge and wife, Sandra of Lovelady numerous other loving relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Wayne Etheredge; father, Joe Guyton; mother, Gladys Guyton Fannin; and sister, Robbie Ruth Dunbar.
Funeral services for Annie Pearl Etheredge was held Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the Antioch Baptist Church with Bro. Gene Kellum officiating. Interment followed in the Lovelady Antioch Cemetery. The family received friends Tuesday evening from 5-7 p.m. at the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.
