Dona Allbright Brenner

Dona Allbright Brenner, 63, lifelong resident of Crockett, passed away Monday, February 19, 2018 in Lufkin. Dona was born October 19, 1954 in Crockett to Elwood N. “Sonny” Allbright and Joyce Redman Allbright.

She worked at a florist for many years and then in marketing for Houston County Home Health Care.

Dona loved cheering on her Houston Astros and Houston Rockets and cherished the many friends and acquaintances she made over her lifetime.

She was always there to lend a helping hand to a friend or neighbor in need and will be missed by many.

Dona is survived by her children, Rusty Brenner and significant other, Brandye Brown of Dallas, Leslie Jinkins and husband, Jamie of Lufkin; grandchildren, Carter Jinkins & Brooklyn Jinkins of Lufkin; mother, Joyce Allbright of Crockett; brother, Butch Allbright and wife, Terri of Sugar Land; nephew, Dusty Allbright of Sugar Land; uncles, Billy Allbright of Crockett, Jackie Bowdoin and wife, Bertie of Crockett; aunts, Robbie Hollingsworth and husband, Randal of Lovelady, Darlene Lane and husband, Marion of Crockett, Carol Brown of Port Neches; special friend, Juanita Brenner of Crockett; numerous other loving relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, Sonny Allbright; aunt, Ailene Meinzer and husband, Ervin; and uncle, Dicky Brown.

Funeral services for Dona Allbright Brenner were held at 3 p.m. Friday, February 23, 2018 in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dennis Ivey officiating. Interment followed in Center Hill Cemetery.
