Bernie Sanders. A 76-year-old who represents Vermont as their Junior Senator is a hoot. Senator Sanders is an Independent who caucuses with the Democrats. He has been in D.C. since 1991.
This past week or so, Senator Sanders decided that all Americans should be put on Medicare. Senator Sanders is just a cat’s whisker shy of being a full-blown Socialist. He wants the government to give you everything. Free College. Free Healthcare. Free Abortions. Free phones (Oh wait, that was Hussein’s idea.) Free hot chocolate (I just threw that one in since he’s in a winter plagued state.) But give him a week or two and he will probably want free food for everyone. Free cars. Free whatever.
The only problem with Santa Claus Sanders ideas are … who is going to pay for all this free stuff? He will say tax the rich. Well the rich will only be rich so long with those extreme taxes. Then what? Seriously, then what?
It’s hard to find exact YEARLY figures of the Medicare Fraud perpetrated each year.
The closest I could find was for 2014. It is estimated that the government lost $60 BILLION to Medicare/Medicaid fraud that year. That’s one year. And I’m pretty sure it’s not decreasing each year.
I receive daily emails from the Dallas FBI Field Office. You would not believe the amount of emails which are discussing the prosecution of Medicare fraud.
The numbers are always in the millions per case. Always. And if you think prosecuting these criminals and confiscating their property reimburses their fraud 100 percent, you would be sadly mistaken.
So, Santa Claus Sanders wants ALL AMERICANS and probably anyone living in America to have medical coverage through Medicare.
That’s right. Let’s force everyone onto a program where fraud is rampant (in the BILLIONS each year) and prosecution is playing catch up at a pace slightly quicker than a democrat admitting Hillary Clinton was a bad presidential candidate. If you have any kind of analytical mind, this is an ignorant idea purposed by Santa Claus Sanders. Again, the free market would not put up with this
