Genesis 6 – “The Fresh Water Flood”

“But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord. Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his time; Noah walked with God. Noah became the father of three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Now the earth was corrupt in the sight of God, and the earth was filled with violence. Then God said to Noah, ‘I am about to destroy mankind with the earth.  Make for yourself an ark of gopher wood, with rooms, and cover it inside and out with pitch (tar). And, you shall bring a pair of every living thing into the ark.’ Now Noah was 600 years old when the flood came.” The rain fell upon the earth for forty days and forty nights. Noah got into the ark (box or barge, made to float, not sail) along with his wife, three sons, and their wives. Then God closed the door. The water covered everything, even the mountains probably. These flood waters pushed the salt water of Satan’s flood (Genesis 1:2) down.

This is why we get salt water from an oil well down deep in the earth’s crust and fresh water when drilling a few feet deep. My water well is 65 feet deep. The water is fresh clear, and tastes great.
