Wilma Jean Cooper

Wilma Jean Cooper, age 77, of Grapeland passed away Tuesday August 15, 2017 in Crockett.  She was born June 6, 1940 in Liberty Hill to parents, Curtis A. Ivie and Mildred Moore Ivie.

She is survived by her mother, Mildred Moore Ivie of Crockett; children, Debra Landrum of Alto, Teresa and Larry Crosby of Alto, Elana Goolsby of Grapeland, Janice and Wayne Hollis of Grapeland, Patricia Pyeatt of Grapeland, and Charles and Tamara Cooper of Normangee; grandchildren, Dana, Jessica, Julie, Mark, Larry, Jr., Shaun, J.D., Ashley, Amos, and Salina; twenty great-grandchildren; brother, J.E. Ivie and wife, Sharon of Liberty Hill; brothers-in-law, Vick Cooper and wife, Wanda of Lake Charles, La., Tommy Jo Cooper and wife, Gayla of Lake Charles, La.; sisters-in-law, Rosie Cangelose and husband, Lane of Mansfield, La., Sylvia Cooper of Mansfield, La.; aunt, Lena Gilmore of Pasadena; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle  Amos Cooper; grandson, Eric Pyeatt; father, Curtis A. Ivie; and sister, Laverne Johnson.

Graveside services for Wilma Jean Cooper were held Friday August 18, 2017 at 10 a.m. in the Weches Cemetery.  Family received friends from 9-10 a.m. Friday prior to service at the Weches Cemetery.  Online condolences may be made at www.callawayallee.com
