Robert Milton Dailey

Robert Milton Dailey (94) was the oldest child born to Robert and Florence Dailey on September 11, 1922 in Grapeland, TX.  He was raised near the Trinity River, in Grapeland and Crockett where he graduated high school.  He served in the service from December 1942 to December 1945 with the 440th Troop Carrier Glider Division in England and France and attended A&M, ETBC, Baylor and SHSC minoring in bible studies.  Robert was a lifetime rancher/farmer, a supervisor twenty-five years for the State Dept. of Human Resource, member of the Masonic Lodge, a Shriner and member of Grapeland Baptist Church.

Robert transitioned May 28, 2017 at Houston County Nursing Home.

Left to cherish his memories are loving wife of 68 years, Dorothy Dailey, sons Jim Bob Dailey (Joy), Grapeland, Mitch Dailey (Karen) Lovelady, daughter Kay Dailey, Grapeland, sisters Geraldine McReyolds (Don) Rosanky, TX, grands Ashley, Jill, Shelby, Robert, great-grands Keaton, Kamdyn, Hayden, Cobi and a host of nieces and nephews.
