Virginia F. Shackouls

Virginia F. Shackouls, 82, of Coldsprings, TX passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2017 in Lufkin, TX.  She was born August 9, 1934 in the Hale Community of Sunflower County, MS to Thomas Allen Frazier and Winnie Mabry Jones Frazier.  Virginia was a member of St. James Episcopal Church, Greenville, MS and when visiting her family in Houston, she attended St. Martin’s Episcopal Church. Virginia had a number of friends in the Coldsprings, TX area.

Mrs. Shackouls is survived by step-children, Bobby S. Shackouls and wife, Judy of Houston, TX, Pamela S. Petrich and husband, Boyd of Cypress, TX; grandsons, Chase E. Petrich, William S. Petrich, David A. Shackouls, C. Todd Shackouls, Scott E. Shackouls; great-grandchildren, Helen Grace Shackouls, Allison C. Shackouls, Charles S. Shackouls, Caroline S. Shackouls, Ashleigh C. Shackouls, Annie B. Shackouls, Catherine R. Shackouls, Charlotte M. Shackouls; brother, Freddie Frazier and wife, Susan of Tyler, TX; sisters, Reitae Chenault and husband, H. F. of Memphis, TN, Patricia McKinney of Kennard; sisters-in-law, Linda Buskirk of Koscuiski, MS, Connie Hedgewood of Holly Springs, MS; special niece, Melissa Welch and husband, James of Crockett, TX; special great-nieces, Jessica Hoy and husband Lane of Kennard, TX, Jamie Welch of Crockett; numerous other loving relatives and friends.

Virginia is preceded in death by her husband, David E. Shackouls; parents, Thomas Allen and Winnie Frazier; brothers, Thomas Allen Frazier, Jr. and Richard Andrew Frazier.
