Delbert Wayne Land, age 80, of Conroe went to be with his Lord Jesus on September 27, 2016. He was born August 29, 1936 to parents, Marvin and Francis Land.
He was survived by his children, Shana Foster and husband, Robert of Conroe, Angela Thomas of Crockett, Darrell Land and wife, Christy of The Colony, Doug Jones and wife, Patricia of Willis, and Connie Chase of Mississippi; grandchildren, Matthew Thomas, Adam Thomas, Mark Leediker, Amber Bowman and husband, Brandon, Madison Foster, Maesun Foster, Ford Foster, Jaclyn Fulchert and husband, Grant, Rachel Land, Danielle Land, Cross Jones, Rylie Jones and Destin Tuleya; great-grandchildren, Morgan, Ayden, Payton, Jayse, Blakely, Brooklyn, Tess, and Emma; brothers and sisters, Harold Land and wife, Shirley of Crockett, Rhoma Duffy and husband, Joe of Florida, Charles Land of Conroe, William Land and wife, Patty of Porter Springs, Tommy Land and wife, Tresea of Pennington, Carolyn Minter and husband, Randy of Crockett, Michael Land and wife, Marsha of Crockett; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Francis Land; son, David Land; brother, Dale Land; sisters, Janice Land and Linda Birdwell.
Funeral services for Delbert Wayne Land will be held Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.
